Welcome to the April market update for Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast.

I'm here at Beef Australia 2018, it's an event that Rockhampton hosts every three years, with an international contingent of people coming to discuss the beef and cattle industry.

There'll be over 4,500 cattle here across 30 breeds and 500 business people exposing their business to world trade routes, which is fantastic.

It just has had a great impact on the town over the last month or so, and we're really looking forward to what the week has to offer.

The Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast market, leading into the last quarter of the financial year softened a little bit, there were 45 home sales in Rockhampton, 11 of those came from Gracemere.

We've been speaking about the value in Gracemere and first-time buyers seeing value out there, testament to the fact that there are 11 properties, or 11 homes sold out there
during the month of April.

At the Coast, there were 25 home sales, and nine of those came from Yeppoon which always,
month in month out, is up there with the suburbs that outperforms the others.

It's great to see that there's still a lot of people that open for inspections and good new stock's coming to the market regularly at the moment.

If you have any questions about the Rockhampton or the Capricorn Coast market, why don't you give the McGrath Rockhampton Capricorn Coast team a call, we'd love to help you.
